The Joyce Foundation is pleased to welcome Edmund Miller as its new Environment
Program manager. Prior to joining the Foundation, Miller served as the director
of the Legacy Fund at The Henry Crown & Company which funds projects to
reduce global warming pollution in the Midwest and strengthen conservation and
sustainable development in North and Central America. His other positions
included program director at Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation which
funds energy efficiency, renewable energy and natural areas conservation
projects, and program officer at the C.S. Mott Foundation in Michigan which
supports environmental programs around the Great Lakes. Miller holds a B.A. in
philosophy and an M.A. in agricultural and natural resource economics from
Stanford University.
