Joyce Foundation Announces $10 Million in Spring 2010 Grants
The Joyce Foundation announced it is awarding 49 organizations nearly $10 million in its spring 2010 grant making cycle. Invested in six different program areas including Education, Employment, Environment, Culture, Gun Violence, and Money and Politics, these funds will support new and continuing initiatives that will have an impact on states within the Great Lakes region.
“At Joyce, our goal is to support organizations and opportunities that can make a real difference in the lives of Great Lakes residents,” said Ellen S. Alberding, president of the Joyce Foundation. “In these challenging economic times, we want to ensure our focus remains on the policy issues that really matter to our region.”
