Roger F. Fross Elected Chairman of the Joyce Foundation Board

The Joyce Foundation is pleased to announce that Roger F. Fross has been elected chairman of the Foundation’s board of directors. Mr. Fross has served on the board for 22 years. His election follows the announcement that John T. Anderson would step down after 26 years as board chairman. Mr. Anderson will continue to serve on the board of directors.


Mr. Fross is a partner with the law firm Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP in Chicago, Illinois. Previously he worked at the predecessor firm Lord Bissell & Brook. Mr. Fross serves as President of the Hyde Park-Kenwood Local Development Corporation and serves on the Board of Directors of the South East Chicago Commission and the Board of Directors of the Chicago Metro History Education Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University and a law degree from the University of Chicago.
