Darren Reisberg


Darren Reisberg is Vice President of Programs and Strategy. He was the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Deputy Provost at the University of Chicago where he managed the Office’s budget and operations, supported faculty governance, led the coordination of the University’s initiatives in K-12 education, and oversaw University arts initiatives as well as the majority of the University's centers and institutes that report directly to the Provost. Darren previously served as the Vice President and Secretary of the University, and the first Executive Director of the University’s Institute of Politics, where he currently serves on the Institute’s Board of Advisors. He also serves as chair of the Illinois State Board of Education and on the Board of Directors of Center on Halsted. He was an employment and labor attorney at the Chicago law firm Sidley Austin LLP, and also worked as a judicial law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer. Darren received his J.D. from Yale Law School and his B.A. in political science at Duke University.
