Michael F. Brewer
Michael F. Brewer was co-founder of OncoTx, LLC, a start-up company specializing in new cancer drug technologies, now part of General Oncology, Inc. Previous positions include Senior Vice President for Communications and Government Affairs of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, Director of Environment and Public Affairs for Cummins Engine Company, and Assistant Vice President of Harvard University. He serves on the Board of the National Symphony Orchestra where he was Board Chairman from 1998-2002 and Board President from 2002-2007, as well as past Chairman of its National Trustees.
He previously served on the boards of the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the Food Research and Action Center, and the Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation in Washington, DC, and is a former member of the Recombinant DNA Advisory Committee and Human Gene Therapy Subcommittee of the National Institutes of Health. Mr. Brewer holds a BA from Williams College and a JD from Harvard Law School.
