Lorie Smith

Lorie is the Executive Assistant to the Foundation's Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Investment Officer & Treasurer.

Prior to joining the Joyce Foundation, Lorie worked at BDO USA for 12 years. She started as a receptionist, then became the Front Office Administrator, and then a Property Tax Administrator.

Lorie is a 3-yr Breast Cancer Survivor! When not working, Lorie sings with a band called The Chicago Catz, and performs at weddings, private events, and festivals throughout the Midwest.
