Announcing the 2025 Creative Impact Awardees

We’re thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2025 Creative Impact Awards, a one-time funding opportunity honoring artists and organizations that have enriched the Great Lakes region.  

Administered by United States Artists, the program awards $10,000 to individual artists and $5,000 to organizations, totaling nearly $900,000 in unrestricted funding. 

This award recognizes the efforts of artists and organizations that have sparked creativity, artistic growth, and collaboration in Great Lakes communities, through the Joyce Foundation Culture Program. This unrestricted award celebrates their contributions and commitment to ongoing creative practice and programs.

The 2025 Creative Impact Awardees were selected by an external national panel of artists, curators, arts administrators, and field leaders, including Joseph Hall (Co-Executive Director, Kelly Strayhorn Theater); Danny Orendorff (Senior Director of Programs & Engagement, The Contemporary Austin); Jennifer Joy Jameson (Associate Program Director & Media Director, Alliance for California Traditional Arts); Kerri Malone (consultant); mariana moscoso (Senior Program Officer, California Humanities); and Sara Nash (independent arts consultant).
